Clarence Jackson is an author, motivational speaker, and Pastor of Destiny Church Tallahassee. Pastor Jackson has also served as Commissioner and l Mayor of the City of Gretna Florida. As a Leading Municipal Official, he was a key figure in unprecedented community development, a contribution that helped the city win Northwest Florida League of Cities City of the Year.
Pastor Jackson not only has municipal experience, but he also has a proven record of commitment to community. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Gadsden Tourist Development Council and is the Past Vice Chairman of The Gadsden Community Health Council Inc. He also served as board member of The Northwest Florida League of Cities and the Big Bend’s leading HIV/AIDS service organization Big Bend Cares.
As Pastor of The Destiny Church Tallahassee, Jackson has led in efforts to meet the needs of hurting families through community partnerships. Through those efforts thousands of families have been afforded the opportunity to receive free clothes, food, and household goods. For those efforts he been honored by Tallahassee Community College in its annual African American History Calendar and in 2013 by former Florida Governor Rick Scott. Pastor Jackson was also favored with an honorary Doctorate Degree from St. Thomas Christian University.
He and his wife Dee have been married for 24 years and they have 4 amazing children, Jaelen Allen, Joana Alexandria, Jan Adolphus, and Jae Alexia. Pastor Jackson earned his Bachelor's Degree in Theology and his Masters in Divinity from Smith Chapel Bible College.
